A walk to the Holy Spring and the Church of the Archangel Michael, first mentioned in church records dating back to 1627. The current building is a renovated stone structure built in 1826. The church houses a unique icon depicting the miracle of the Archangel Michael in Chonae.
Within the image, the face of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker is clearly visible, and expert analysis has confirmed there are no older paint layers beneath. Visitors can light candles in the church and also visit the Holy Spring, which flows from beneath the roots of a large elm tree. You can collect water and bathe in the pools built right at the spring.
